Not a keen reader

Yes, I am not a keen reader. I think basically because i havent had time to do so for the past few years. All i read was educational books for exams and also work really took up most of my times years back. Now that i'm done with exams, plus work is much more relaxing than before, so i guess i have lots of extra times, and why not read. I've always read Metro in the morning, and Evening Standard in the evening, but i only read the last section, which is the sport section. Other than that, i kinda flip every pages, but not really reading it. Ive watch news every now and then, so its not like i dont know whats up! So sport sections in newspapers were my reading sources for a good few years, and i still do now of course!

But for the past 2 months or so, i have been reading three books, if Fifty Shades (kinky fuckery much) trilogy means 3, then i've read 5 books! Quite honestly, i blame E L James, and then i blame Belle for emailing me the trilogy. Ha ha. When i start reading it, i swear i did put the books down every now and then, cause quite honestly, I only read when i am on the move, not while i am at home relaxing, NO! After all, thanks for the technology i've read all my books on my iBooks, theres no extra space needed in my bag. No, i dont give a fuck if i read Fifty Shades, the book, when im on the tube, hell its just a BOOK. Its a soft porn, and its not like you gonna grab any man who unfortunately is in front of you and make love there and then. Well, if you're Tulisa (hey don't blame me! that chav was voted for the sexiest woman in the world by FHM), then he is one lucky bastard. My point is that, i prefer to have it on my iBooks, as its easier for me. Although its hurting my eyes reading those small fonts, and i think iPad is too heavy having to carry it around just because i wanna read comfortably. Plus, its not a long journey to work and back home, around 30mins each.

So i've read Fifty Shades trilogy. In my opinion, the Grey is the only book that make sense really, and then both Darker and Freed is just dragging it too long. Having all those sex positions in writing are just tiring to read after the second and third fifty shades. Then its weird cause I have a friend who said stuff which is very much similar to Grey, and i freaked out, like what the hell? So i asked my friend " have you read the book?" the answer was "no, i've heard about it but no!". Then i thought how the fuck does this friend have the same exact words used as Grey? Well Grey is too much for me, i dont like it in any way! Some women might find it fascinationg and start fantasizing about him. Then yesterday, i've read an article about Christian Grey wannabe. I just have to laugh it off. Everything about him is opposite Christian Grey. Dude, its fucking fictional for fuck sake!

I also read The Little Prince. This has been suggested by two persons, a dear friend of mine, Fatihah, and then an Oxford guy, Sani's friend, Josh. So i figure out, if two people asked you to read it, and one of them is an Oxford student, it must be a good read. So i did. I am reading a 5 years old bed time story book, and i am glad i did. I didnt find it amusing at first, but after a while, i found out that i wanna know what happen next to the prince, like which planet did he come from, like what happen to the flower and stuff. I dont have big imagination, as i think its best to stick to reality. But to understand The Little Prince, u have to be able to be open minded, and think outside of the box. It talks about loneliness, love and life. The ending bit was sad when the little prince allow the snake to bite him, so that he can return to his planet.

"Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." - The Little Prince

Then currently, I am reading a biography. I am not so big about biography, i even tweet about hating those ridiculous dumb celebrities biography. Like seriously, what could you possibly learn from Cheryl Cole biography? Are u fucking mental? You honestly think the Geordie will be able to motivate you in any way? Ur life must have been really sucks then, sorry but reality bites! Calm down now, thats just my opinion. I am currently reading I am Zlatan. He really had a tough life, and after all those shits hes been through, i am honestly glad he is where he is at the moment! He doesnt give a fuck about no one, rebel with a cause, as cocky as fuck, and yes, his talent allows him to do so. It actually give me that thought, how would my biography be like. Will it be as intense as his? I have all sort of things happening in my life. Growing up is crazy, not because i had a tough life, but because i'm making it hard on myself, and worst on my family. Not many people know about it, my close friends they do. But its all in the past, my life is pretty stable at the moment. Hopefully CONTENT is not a big word. But Zlatan dude, Balkan boy u are, look how far uve come, and totally deserved the respect. A good biography indeed. He is a Marmite, u either love him or hate him. Me? i fucking love Balkan boys, i got one remember? =)

Pray For Gaza

So this has been the issue today for the past 60 years, for as long as Israelis and Palestinians are alive. So how much do we contribute in helping the war to end? This was exactly what my friend and I were debating about last night, passed mignight to be exact, and yes mate, I was late to work this morning. ha ha.

I am not against anyone who feels that boycotting Israel's product will help Israel ceases fire on Gaza. I am also not saying that not boycotting the product is bad, as hands down, i dont boycott any of their products. Trust me dude, if i do, i wouldn't even be able to write this blog, not that i have any readers anyway, but still, you got my point. Intel, the computer microprocessors, yes that one, also publicly support Israel. If you were to boycott in my opinion, boycott everything that are Israelis', then thats the way to do it. If for example, boycotters say they'll boycott McDonalds and Starbucks, but believe me when this war is no longer making the news (i am not saying END), every single boycotters will go back to their Big Mac and Java Chips. Then what is the point? You stop "sponsoring" them for one period, then you'll start buying products from them again after a while. I say if you really want to properly boycott the products, do it all the way. Be a hard core, boycott everything, every fucking time. Hell yeah, thats effing hard core!

We are talking humanity. We are talking civilians being killed for being there at the "wrong place" (nothing's wrong with relaxing at home) and at the "wrong time" (what is wrong with family time over dinner?) . We are talking babies losing their parents, wives losing their husbands, people losing their loved ones, in BOTH lands, Israel and Palestine, and all we argue about is whether to boycott or not? I am not against boycotters nor am i with them non-boycotters, but I find people get extremely sensitive and not thinking straight. I know I am, so forgive me if some of my points in this particular blog are bang out of order! Believe me that is not the purpose of this writing.

Whatever we do at present, i am pretty sure every single one of us is praying and hoping hard for the war to end. Whether you're black, white, orange, Christians, Muslims, Jews etc, we all want this to end, because this is human being we're talking about, HUMANITY. The bloodbath has gotta end. Innocent men, women and children were killed for the never-ending war over a piece of land that obviously belongs to Palestine (ok, maybe a BIG piece of land), but remember, there are as much innocent Israelis being sacrificed for the "purpose" too, and its not even a purpose if i'm being honest! Being a Muslim, i know one thing for sure, only Allah swt can brings an end to this war, not us, not them Jews, not the Arabs, and not even the Americans. Also as a Muslim, we pray hard for our Muslim brothers and sisters who are at war. We pray for their safety, we pray for the war to end, altogether to stop the pain they're suffering for years. Remember, Allah swt is listening, He is watching and observing how us humans react to such catastrophe send to us by Him.

If you think boycotting helps, by all means, do so. Donates, send them prayers, helps whichever way we can, its not how you want to help them, but its why you want to help them. If you're honest enough to see them make it through another day, just believe that Allah swt listens, and He knows best, only He knows best. Whichever way we choose to do it, InsyaAllah, we will help them Palestinians, and let Allah swt do the rest. After all, the world is only borrowed to us, to share among us humans, no exceptions to those lands in Palestine or Israel.

Brokeback Mountain

*WARNING: Homophobics can already close my blog and enjoy their cuppa elsewhere*

For as long as i remember, Zaty told me about Brokeback Mountain twice, and keep telling me to not sob while watching the movie. Fair enough, i did not. Not until i've decided to watch my favourite parts of the movie over and over again. It sends a tingling sensation in my body, that the movie IN MY OPINION, is among the best love story ive ever watched. I dont like movies, i dont fancy going to cinemas, so i've basically watch movies say 5 times a year? Thats a lot of time for me.

The moment i mention brokeback mountain, the first thing that come straight to mind is "GAY"! You aint kidding nobody, cause i honestly have the same thought before i watch it. Until Zaty kept telling me to watch the movie, and how sad the movie was. So i eventually did. NO! The movie is not for gay, the movie is for people who appreciate the arts of love. I am not going to touch on anything about religions, so before you say anything, you can shove that thought elsewhere, cause i aint buying that.

The movie was indeed beautifully written. The critics said the same thing and i couldnt agree more. I like the plot in the movie cause its fast with no hanky panky. I am not gonna write a synopsis for the movie here in case you're wondering, i am just sharing my thought. The movie is purely about love, in the sense that no matter how hard you try to deny love, if its there, then its there. Its best to take it and cherish it while you can. There's no regrets in love. There SHOULD BE NO regrest in love. How can you regret loving someone that you love? Its doesnt make sense! But what make sense is that, you will be miserable if you dont follow your heart. The intensity of their love is like the flowing blood in your vein, and thats how love should be, so powerful and yet so fragile at the same time.

I will not write much about the film, but i am just sharing my take of the movie, that i once thought was about gay community but i was WRONG! Its purely about love. Beautiful love between two human being with feelings like you and me. Those characters are fictional, but it is happening in the real world. I enjoy the movie so much, that i thought it would be nice to share my favourite parts of the movie as well.

Jack fucking Twist!

I wish i knew how to quit you!

I cannot take not seeing each other for 4 months, let alone 4 years. Its scientifically proven, that heartbroken killed! So, you might wanna re-consider your egos or your fucking dignity when it comes to love. It could've been the best thing that will ever happen to you. If you dont try, then you don't know, in fact you'll never know.
