raya mood still are we?

so its the 7th day of Syawal. How are we doing so far? A month of 'dieting' went down the drain already? Those who were unable to fast due to certain circumstances, have we pay it back already? Puasa Enam perhaps? Done visiting relatives near and far? Any luck on receiving angpau Raya? Ticking any box are we? Its always these normal situations every time its the first week of Syawal. Some people will tick almost all boxes, whilst others most possibly tick half of them boxes. Unlike me, i ain't ticking any box whatsoever. Same 'consumption' amount of meals, not doing the Puasa Enam (my bad), definitely no relatives to visit and surprisingly (haaa), zero amount of angpau Raya. So what have i been doing for the past 7 days of Syawal. Let's reminisce shall we?

1st Syawal

had a job interview and cooked for both umpy and i. called Aini, wished her Selamat Hari Raya and guess what did i get in return?

Lady: Oi, Selamat Hari Raya!

Aini: Oi, belum lagi lah..

Lady: Sudah lah!

Aini: Belom lah!

Lady: Gosh, sudah raya lah hari ni!

Aini: Abis, bley buka puasa laa ni eh? *giggle*

Lady: Dah boleh raya laaaaa.. *tap forehead*

by the way, that phone call was made at around 2 in the afternoon. so she's basically been fasting the whole half day of 1st Syawal(that woman!). so i am kinda her savior for the day, or she'll most probably celebrate her Raya on the 2nd of Syawal *grin*

2nd / 3rd Syawal

been working the whole day at the bakery. been telling people i am finally off fasting and is celebrating my Eid Mubarak. So basically been getting, or should i say been asking to be wished Eid Mubarak the whole day *flips hair* back to normal meals. sigh

4th Syawal

got a date with Suzanne. window shopping for some nice working pants/clothes and apparently got my eyes stuck on few things including a not-needed trench coat! *damn* its nice. will most probably return and get'em! *evil laugh* oh, and i lost my Oyster Card which i had it with me for the past 1 year. must i lost something every year every time? i hate the feeling of losing something and that i does affect my mood. luckily it was already 630pm when i notice i didn't have it anywhere with me *blimey* later that night, umpy and i went to the pub nearby to watch England trashed Bulgaria, 3-0.

5th Syawal

initial plan was to go for a swim(although i don't know how to swim). but umpy got disappointed with the weather, and knowing his patience level, he won't wait for the sun to come up a bit later in the afternoon. so he decided to go to his mates' and me, enjoying the open house organized by the MASDUKE(i think) with dearest Zaty and Sani. Luckily we got each other, or i might as well jump off the bridge with disgusting foods they served us, and the wrong table we decided to enjoy the already-sucky food with some lunatic wannabes. but i got to eat nice Simpulan Kasih at Zaty's and it was oh so good, that i can't stop munching it! *faint*

oh! oh! we decided to watch Paranormal Activity 2, but then we also "mutually" decided to play with our cells while watching the movie. the movie is playing, Zaty the movie spoiler, Sani the listener and me the smoker but we all have one thing in common, we WERE ALL PLAYING WITH THE BLOODY MOBILE all the way. we're multi-tasking and we're pretty much good at it *rolls eyes* suddenly, its the climax of the movie, NO ONE knows whats happening. but pretending that we did pay attention to the movie, and start discussing what actually happened! EPIC you lot!

6th Syawal

the weather was so bad yesterday, that we decided to stay in. umpy NEVER stay in until late in the evening but he did yesterday. the record was finally broken. umpy have this thing in his head "i don't wanna stay at home the whole day. i will go mental!" and because of that mantra, we finally get out of the house at around 5pm, hanging around the neighborhood, and went back home at around 7pm. that's about it really!

7th Syawal

hand in my resignation notice. normal working day. cook chicken porridge for dinner and also writing up this blog. wow! never know my life is so exciting..who am i kidding?! yes, MYSELF! oh well, got tonnes of revision to do for my ACCA exams, and yet here i am! blergh. 15 more minutes, and then its Eastenders time! adios amigo.
